Abstract

Agile is no longer a new word “in town” and more and more companies that suffers from the classic approach for project management are shifting to it.

However, most of the companies do not really know what is Agile and furthermore, what is the mindset behind this framework.

Sometimes, the use of the word is like a “magic powder” to put on their project pains and a lot of managers, companies and even Agile consultants companies, are taking advantage of that fact.

 

By the end of this workshop, the participants will gain the understanding what is Agile and what is not Agile, when it is highly recommended to implement it and when it is not, best practices to a successful implementations and common mistakes and not less important the mindset of this framework

  • Agile principles

Module 3: Agile Frameworks

“Sometime you do not have to think out of the box, sometimes you need to create the box”

  • Review main methodologies of implementing Agile
    • Scrum
    • Kanban
    • XP
  • Review the advantages and disadvantages in each methodology
  • Discuss reasons and ways of combining multiple methodologies

Module 4: Implementing Agile

  • Where to start (environment)
  • How to start (assessment)
  • Whom to start with (Identify the people with higher consciousness)
